Allrecipes' editorial guidelines Published on January 3, 2025 Close Photo: Dotdash Meredith/Getty Images Peeking at our post-holiday credit card bills, we might all be looking for ways to save in the new year. And what better way than with copycat deals that function just like higher-end versions? Whether it’s a Williams Sonoma look-alike bakeware set from Costco, Aldi's wine glasses offered at a fraction of the cost of the name brand, or bargain platters that look like they came off the Pottery Barn shelves, we have plenty of options to give our kitchens a January refresh without paying full price. Many of our go-to retailers (even Dollar General!) have been known to offer some seriously impressive dupes. Now, just in time for a fresh start, Sam’s Club has a dinnerware set that we’re running to snag. It has the same look and feel as those higher-end sets but won’t hurt our wallets nearly as much. Sam’s Club’s New 12-Piece Artisan Dinnerware Set Sam's Club/Allrecipes Sam’s Club’s latest copycat is its Member’s Mark Artisan Dinnerware, an eye-catching set—not just because it looks like a $129 Pottery Barn version—but because it’s only $30. This stunning 12-piece stoneware set serves four with its 10.5-inch dinner plates, 8.5-inch salad plates, and 6-inch bowls. The dishes’ “unique reactive finish” comes in four different colors, including grey, green, blue, and purple, to fit any palette. Even though the Sam’s Club set may be a lower price than the competition, that doesn’t mean you’ll get less use out of the sturdy dishes. According to the website, these kitchen staples are built to last and “crafted from durable stoneware materials.” The glazed finish helps make the dishes fade-resistant as well. Similar to the Pottery Barn set, this version also has a stylish gloss that makes it look expensive, while the round shape helps make it easy to stack in your cabinets. Plus, it’s all microwave and dishwasher safe, making heating up leftovers and cleaning up after mealtime as easy as can be. So, if you were looking for an excuse to finally update your dining table but didn’t want to shell out hundreds, Sam’s has you covered. Sounds like a win-win (for less)—and a great way to kick off the new year in style.
