Think of tender, savory hot dogs cocooned in a swath of buttery, fluffy dough, the flavors melding together to create a taste sensation that pleases even the pickiest of kids. That’s right. We’re talking about pigs in a blanket. You can make them with full-size frankfurters or snackable cocktail weiners, or you can even make them with bacon. And now, if you’re a Sam’s Club member, you can buy the pigs in a blanket-pretzel mashup of our dreams. Sam’s Club recently released Oktoberfest Mini Pretzel Franks, and they seem like the perfect solution to last-minute gatherings or a pre-dinner snack. Sam’s Club describes them as an "all-beef kosher frankfurter wrapped in a soft wheat beer infused pretzel dough.” The pretzel-wrapped franks are frozen and don’t require any defrosting. Take them straight from the freezer and pop them in the oven, microwave, or air fryer—no futzing with biscuit dough or baking soda baths for homemade pretzels. The mini pretzel franks come in a resealable bag, so you’re able to make just enough for whoever you’re serving. (Though, with 30 franks per bag, odds are you’re cooking all of them if you're feeding a crowd.) This is a limited-time product, and it’ll cost you $11.98 for a bag. That works out to about 40 cents per pretzel dog. Serve with ketchup and mustard, or go the extra mile and make your own beer cheese dip to complement the chewy pretzel exterior of the mini franks. If you’re not a Sam’s Club member, you can still get in on the fun with a bit more elbow grease and make your own pretzel dogs at home. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why!
