Wendy’s Is Giving Away Free Fries This Week

Wendy’s has been our unofficial sponsor of summer, providing us with delicious weekly deals we just can’t pass up. Whether it's a BOGO chicken sandwich, 99-cent nuggets, or free Frosty’s, the fast-food favorite has given us a reason to run through the drive-thru on a regular basis—and they’re not stopping yet.

This August, we’ve already cashed in on a $1 sandwich deal and discounted breakfast sandwiches, but this week, we’ll be scoring one of our favorite menu items for free: french fries. In our opinion, Wendy’s has some of the best fast-food fries in the game (not to mention, they just won our chicken nugget taste test, too!) so we’ll be taking full advantage of this “Hot Deal Summer” freebie.

How to Get Free Fries at Wendy’s This Week

From August 21 to 27, Wendy’s will add a free fry—any size—to your purchase. All you have to do is place your order through the Wendy’s app, then swing by the drive-thru to pick it up. And as we’ve told you before, if you aren’t using the apps every time you go to a fast food counter, you’re doing it wrong.

So whether you’re squeezing in one last summer road trip or kicking off the carpool rounds, you can score a free hot and crispy snack that’ll make the whole car happy.

This freebie is one-time-use only, so “fry-deem it while you can.”

Next week (8/28 to 9/2), Wendy’s will be offering their final week of summer deals of a free beverage with the purchase of a fiery Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich and a one-time-use $1 Crispy Chicken Sandwich with any purchase—just make sure to order through the Wendy’s app!
