The New $3.50 Aldi Product I’m Lining My Freezer With

It's already selling out fast.

Anyone who has ever shopped at Aldi knows that beyond the great products and shockingly low prices, the store has an aisle that’s truly magical. The Aldi Finds aisle.

Every month, Aldi releases dozens of new food and home products that are available for a limited time while supplies last. Sometimes, it’s a returning item that you know to stock up on immediately because you’re not sure when you’ll see it again (we’re looking at you Clancy’s Baked Cheddar & Sour Cream chips). While other times, it’s a brand-new product that you’ve never seen before—like October’s frozen Stuffed Gnocchi

Aldi’s Stuffed Gnocchi Deserves a Spot in Your Freezer

Aldi’s Priano Stuffed Gnocchi hit the freezer section on October 11 and has already made a splash as my new favorite Aldi pasta. The German retailer has a really great selection of fresh and frozen pastas year-round—but it gets even better in the fall and winter months when Aldi releases products like its Pumpkin Sage Ravioli and frozen Manicotti.

This year, I’m blown away by the new Stuffed Gnocchi addition, which comes in an Alfredo and Tomato Basil variety. The frozen product features authentic potato gnocchi stuffed with either a creamy Alfredo sauce or a bold basil-flavored tomato sauce. And the cooking method couldn’t be easier—you just heat them in a skillet with butter or oil until the filling is warm and the gnocchi dumplings are slightly crispy.

I sautéed them in butter for extra flavor, and because they’re filled with sauce, I didn’t even need to add more topping to the gnocchi. I just served as-is for a delicious comfort food meal that was ready in less than 10 minutes.

As with so many of my favorite Aldi products, the Stuffed Gnocchi is less than $5—ringing in at $3.49 per 16-ounce bag.

Sadly, when I went shopping on October 12, just one day after the new Aldi Finds rolled out, my store was already sold out of the Alfredo Stuffed Gnocchi and only had a few bags of the Tomato Basil Stuffed Gnocchi left. Meaning if you want to try this game-changing product, you’re going to have to hit your local Aldi ASAP because, typically, with Aldi Finds, once they’re gone, they’re gone, and you might never see them again. However, Aldi, if you’re reading this, please don’t let these Stuffed Gnocchi be discontinued after one year. I’m begging.
