Allrecipes' editorial guidelines Published on October 26, 2023 Close Photo: Adobe/Allrecipes Are your sheet pans showing signs of being well-loved—still useful but stained with burnt residue from overflowing chicken pot pie filling or burnt cookies? You can try to clean them, but perhaps you’ve decided that with the holidays coming up, you’re in the market for new baking sheets. If so, you’ll want to head to Aldi and hit the Aisle of Shame, the affectionate name Aldi shoppers give to that center section that has home goods and seasonal stuff, but no food. It’s where you’ll find limited-time items such as Le Creuset-looking Dutch ovens and copycat Stanley tumblers that disappear quickly once Aldi shoppers discover them. Aldi just released a new batch of baking items in the Aisle of Shame, and with the holiday baking season upon us, they are sure to fly off shelves as quickly as Santa’s reindeer. Aldi’s Set of 3 Cookie Sheets for $10 For most baking endeavors, one baking sheet is enough. When you bake up a sheet-pan dinner or pile the pan high with nachos, one pan full of food goes in the oven, and when it comes out, you’re done. But when you’re making cookies in batches, you need more than one baking sheet so that when one comes out of the oven the next is ready to go right in. This is where this excellent Aldi Aisle of Shame deal comes in handy. The German grocer is selling a Crofton three-piece cookie sheet bundle for just $9.99, according to Instagram’s Amazing Aldi. Aldi/Allrecipes “Yesss my fav time of year,” one commenter said when Amazing Aldi posted a photo of Aldi’s circular and said, “Holiday starts TOMORROW at Aldi!” Specifically, the deal starts Oct. 25 at Aldi stores. It’s our favorite time of year around here at Allrecipes, too, and we’re excited about this three-piece cookie sheet set as well as other baking items showing up on Aldi’s shelves this week. The circular also shows useful items such as a $9 three-piece cooling rack set, an adorable $6 measuring cup set (that looks a bit like tea cups), and a $6 adjustable rolling pin. Blink and these baking items will be sold out at Aldi, so if you’re in the market for any of them, get there as soon as possible.
