Great flavors Easy to follow Worth the effort Crowd-pleaser Family favorite I loved this recipe idea! I made a half of recipe with my leftover pork loin. I don’t use canned soup. I made my own cream of chicken soup with 2.5 Tbs butter, melted, 1 heaping Tbs flour whisked into a lovely fragrant roux followed by a heaping tsp of premium low sodium Better than Bullion, a dash of cayenne pepper, a little dill weed, and 1.5 cups milk, letting it gently boil until appropriately thickened. I used farfalle (bowtie) noodles instead of egg noodles. I sautéed all of the chopped veggies after throwing them all in my mini KitchenAid chopper (though skipped the corn.) I added the sour cream, cheese, and sprinkled panko breadcrumbs on top, skipping the salt, and baked in an 8 x 8” pyrex in my hot air fryer oven. The flavor was stupendous. I’m not a casserole maker but didn’t want the pork loin to go to waste. I’m so glad I tried this recipe. Helpful (1) EMiranda11 reviewed cjscott’s Yummy Pork Noodle Casserole Recipe. January 2025 I left out the corn, and this recipe was bangin'. Seriously I'd make this once a week! Helpful (0) ann horton reviewed cjscott’s Yummy Pork Noodle Casserole. December 2024 I tweaked the b'jesus out of this one, based on what I had in my fridge. So I used the celery, some red onion, some grated carrots, some chopped broccoli, some left over corn casserole, the right amount of pork, cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, Greek yogurt, actual egg noodles (!). I halved the recipe. [I'm never sure if the amount of noodles in a casserole is before or after they are cooked unless it is stipulated.] I used some panko and some french fried onions on top. Even though I halved the recipe, there is enough to feed at least 6 ppl (or 4 very hungry ppl (or teenagers)).I really wish this site would make recipes down-sizable as there are only the two of us. I usually use Corona or Corona Light, and add fresh lime juice to mine. And to cut the sweetness, I add orange juice instead of water. These have become VERY popular in my neighborhood! I can't wait to use the Bud Light Lime as someone suggested. Yum! Helpful (6) Peppermint Cereal Squares 04/08/2009 These are a cute way to dress Rice Krispy treats up for the holidays. I use red and green peppermints and finely crush them and sprinkle it on top. Festive and delicious! Helpful (5) BLT Dip 02/18/2009 Very good dip that does taste like a BLT! I added some sliced green onion and a bit of ms. dash. I had a friend serve this dip on top of tomato slices, and that was delicious. I think I will try it warm with the added cream cheese. This is a very versatile recipe! Helpful (2) Beefy Biscuit Cups 02/18/2009 These are a quick dinner idea that is super easy to make. However, I did have problems keeping my biscuit to stay in the "cup" shape too. I added some seasonings to these and since I was almost out of shredded cheese, I cut up some mozzarella string cheese sticks into fourths and added one piece to each cup before adding the meat filling. They were yummy and oozey when you bit into them. I would definitely recommend adding the extra cheese! Helpful (1) Ranch Oyster Crackers 02/18/2009 My aunt used to make these for all our holiday gatherings. They are so addicting! This is a good recipe, and makes a TON! Helpful (2) Barbecue Chicken Wings 02/18/2009 Best wings ever! My husband BEGS me to make them for him! Cooking them in the oven, and then adding them to the slow cooker makes them fall-off-the-bone tender. They disappeared in 30 minutes at my son's birthday party. We like things spicy at our house so I cut down on the honey and doubled the hot sauce. It created a spicy BBQ sauce, and turned out delicious! Thanks for the recipe! Helpful (7)
