I think my wings were bigger than the ones in this recipe because I even used a hotter oven and they still weren’t crisp. Don’t get me wrong, they were great, but just not nice and crisp like everyone else said. I will definitely try them again with the additional time. With a few additions, it is even better. I used 3 strips of bacon (left over from another recipe) and then tossed in a ring of kielbasa to brown, along with a large sliced onion. As per others, I added a few shakes of Worcestershire sauce and also a few shakes of herbs de Provence. I also only used one cup of broth and that seemed a bit much at the end so I let it simmer with the lid off for about half an hour to reduce. Flavor was fantastic! I’m sorry I waited so long! This is the kind of recipe that makes me ask why more people don’t cook from scratch because it’s super easy. I only made two changes because I didn’t have things on hand: fresh, chunky tomato sauce instead of Roma tomatoes and zucchini instead of broccoli. I also used chicken thighs instead of breasts since we like those better. Great and easy dish that can be used for company, too! My husband doesn’t like mushrooms so I had to omit those and I didn’t have any roasted red peppers so I put in about half a cup of Classico jarred sauce. Other than that, I followed the recipe the way it was written…well, except I never put the right amount of garlic that recipe calls for. One clove? You mean a whole bulb? Lol! I was concerned that there might not be enough liquid for the instant pot, but it was fine. I wound up thickening the sauce, a little bit with cornstarch at the end because we like thicker sauces. This was really good and we served it over rice to get all of the sauce. I also added a little Parmesan cheese when I served it. Next time I'll try it for about 7 minutes. I also added onions at the beginning and I had a can of mixed Chinese vegetables that I tossed in. Excellent recipe! Thank you! It's very forgiving and you can add whatever you really want to the stuffing. I've done a similar recipe with spinach and ricotta cheese but the broccoli and cheddar in this one completely rocked. The only thing I did differently was pound the breasts very thin and roll them up around the filling. I then used bacon to hold it together and added white wine in the dish to when I baked it. I made it even a little easier by buying a 10 oz bag of Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate chips. No chopping for this girl! While I had the heavy cream on the stove heating up, I put the chips in a microwave safe bowl and heated them up for 30 seconds on high. I gave them a stir and put them back in for another 30 seconds. I took them out and added a little bit of rum like the recipe suggested and then added the cream. I whipped it with my whisk until smooth as directed and tucked it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to chill so I could pour it over a cheesecake. Perfect! Helpful (1) Load More
