A keeper!
It was great, followed the recipe with only the addition of more ground beef and adjusted the seasonings for the added 1/4 pound. Prep time took longer but I anticipated that after reading through the instructions. My family loved it and I will be making it again.

I opted to replace half the butter with bacon fat and added two strips of cooked chopped bacon while the sauce was thickening. I served it over Rana's chicken and mozzarella tortellini, my family LOVED!

Super yummy! I used elk meat and added a little garlic. Both of my boys ate and enjoyed it, daddy was gone hunting and missed out though.

This method worked perfect! I have a spotty history with hard boiled eggs, usually over cooked with the shell sticking but these peeled beautifully with a just done yolk! Thanks!

Tangy deliciousness! Loved this on a lemon yogurt sponge cake. I was afraid it would have a cooked flavor, but it was like fresh crushed raspberries. Thank you for sharing!

We really enjoyed this. I only used about 1T of the caraway seeds, I didn't have more, but I partially crushed them to help spread their essence.

We've enjoyed this so far, I did as another suggested and used all the batter to fill a bundt pan. Baked it for 70 minutes and it was perfect. The pears I used were fresh, but still pretty hard, so they stayed together well. I did add about a 1/2 t ground ginger, think next time I'll try fresh. I replaced half of the oil with applesauce, mostly because I had an almost empty jar taking up room in the fridge. Last thing I did was to use about one third whole wheat instead of the all-purpose. I think next time I'd like to try adding some cardamom too.

This was great! My boys, 8 and 6 didn't complain during dinner, which is success in our house. I did have to make a few changes since I didn't have any mushrooms. I increased the celery and added half a grated carrot, as well as a little chicken soup base while sauteing the veggies. Will certainly make again with mushrooms next time.
