Helpful (0) Sautéed Apples 07/20/2017 A wonderful recipe. I used sweet apples because that is what I had and found it too sweet for me. I will cut down on the brown sugar. OK I made again with the tart apples and still cut down on the brown sugar and it was just fab. The first time I made them I should have thought to cut the brown sugar down as I was using sweet apples.....dugh The second time I made them I added a little rum to them and it was wonderful over vanilla ice cream. Helpful (0) Bacon Wrapped Smokies 02/09/2017 These were wonderful the only thing that I would do different is not cook as long in the crockpot and not cook on high it is not necessary. What is important to do though is make sure you do turn them often otherwise the bottom ones get tough. Helpful (0) Cindy's Breakfast Casserole 05/05/2016 This is really very good. Many things that you can add to make it your own. One suggestion is, I put the bacon in the freezer for about ten minutes then I take it out and cut it in small strips starting at one end of the pound of bacon to the other end then I fry it. This way you don't have to break the bacon up after it is done. You can cut it to the size of chunks you want and it is ready to go for anything you need small pieces for. I always do this when I need chunk's of bacon for salads or really anything. Helpful (16) One Pan Orecchiette Pasta 01/01/2016 This was wonderful but I did find the orecchiette pasta to thick and gummy. I made it again with a thinner type of pasta and it was wonderful. Everything in the recipe was great except the thick pasta. Helpful (0)
