A keeper!Great flavorsEasy to followWorth the effort
Who knew my 68 year old husband would love something new! I followed the recipe exactly, as I always do for a new recipe, and loved the flavors. I will spend a little more time bringing the dough together in the future, and will lower the temp to 350, but otherwise the instructions worked well for me. Thank you!
I love gingerbread. This was easy to work with. I chilled the dough overnight and took half out st a time to work with.
The flavor of these is really great...if you like gingerbread. Will keep this recipe as my go to.
1st time making lasagna or pasta of any kind in the slow cooker. My usual lasagna has tons of veggies but I was looking for something easy for my family. I used whole wheat noodles and drained the grease from the meat before adding the onions and garlic. This didnt need any added salts. Use you favourite pasta sauce that will make a huge difference in the flavor outcome. Mone cooked on low for 4 hours and came out better then I thought it would.
It was nice to able to put this together and then go run some errands and come home to dinner being ready. ..cant so that with an oven lasagna. Not sure if I'll make as written again. But I will most likely make my recipe in a slow cooker next time.
I am the creator of this recipe. I use plain Greek yogurt (you could use flavored)and I also make it using natural peanut butter. Since natural peanut butter is kept in the fridge I like to zap it for a few seconds in the microwave so it mixes in nicely with the yogurt. The strawberries and chocolate protein bar sweeten this enough for me. Clearly you can play around.
Enjoy.
Made this for my husband ..and served it with a tortellini type pasta. This sauce will only be as good as the quality of your cheese. I used cheese from the specialty cheese section at my local grocery store.. most times you can find smaller chunks of the REAL stuff ..and it's not very expensive. Overall taste was good..i don't eat this type of dish anymore But if I did I would have doubled up the garlic and added pepper.
