Spagetti Sauce

This recipe has been handed down 3 generations and I am not Italian. I have tweaked it to my liking. I don't care for bell peppers so I do not add them.

  9. Serve with your favorite pasta.

  10. Store remaining sauce in a freezer safe container.

  11. This sauce is also good for lasagna as well.

Cook’s Note

  • You can adjust seasonings to your taste. I do not like my sauce to be sweet. If you want it to be spicy add crushed red peppers or half meat and half spicy Italian sausage. You can also add 1 diced green bell pepper. You can also use beef. I use turkey or chicken (1lb). The red wine adds additional flavor and depth.
