Nicole Stockman Ratings & Reviews 26 Waffles 08/19/2018 These are quick, easy and taste great. I add a pinch of cinnamon for that authentic waffle taste. They also freeze well! Helpful (0) Amazing Peanut Butter Cup Biscotti 01/23/2018 This is my first attempt at biscotti and it did not disappoint! I didn't have the peanut butter chips and do not recommend leaving them out. The texture and taste were spectacular, but because I didn't have the chips, my batch lacked more of the PB taste. Will make again with the chips! Helpful (0) Bourbon Whipped Cream 11/03/2016 This was phenomenal! I used maple bourbon and will never try anything else...it was sooo good! I cut the bourbon back to 1T, but it still packed a punch. I put it on the pumpkin pie, but we found 100 other uses for it....on top of coffee, hot cocoa, apple pie, etc. It is truly awesome. Will be a staple at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Helpful (3) Chef John's Peanut Curry Chicken 07/24/2016 We loved this! The only change that I made was with the chicken broth. I substituted 3/4 c. unsweetened coconut milk. Everything else the same and it was phenomenal. I added green pepper, chopped carrots and broccoli to the veggie portion. Served just as pictured....in a bowl, topped with some rice. This is my new favorite. Oh and I didn't even have the pobalano pepper and it was still fantastic!!! Helpful (5) Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs 05/07/2015 We really loved this! I took the advice of other reviewers and doubled the sauce with 4T of corn starch. Omitted the carrots and added a red pepper. Served over rice and it was delish! We also discussed serving this as an appetizer....would really be fantastic. Helpful (0) Italian Chicken Skillet 01/20/2015 We loved this! I seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper, added a red pepper, green pepper and onion along with the garlic and cooked on med/hi almost like a stir fry. I added the wine and tomatoes and let it simmer on low while I cooked 8 oz of Penne pasta separately. I added fresh chopped spinach for about 5 minutes, then tossed in the pasta. I added Italian seasoning, because my diced tomatoes were not seasoned. I also used Primal Roots red blended wine from California. This is definitely going into the rotation! Helpful (3) Chef John's Smothered Pork Chops 10/09/2014 Followed this recipe to a T. It was wonderful and dare I say, the best pan sauce/gravy I have ever made. Make sure you add the drippings from the pork chops and sauté the onions slowly the ENTIRE time required. What you end up with is a gravy to die for. Served it with Chef John's Mashed Potatoes and corn. Delish! Helpful (15) Pork Chops Italiano 12/30/2011 We followed the recipe as is and even left out the mushrooms and bell pepper (last minute meal!).....it was delicous! I used two butterfly pork chops that we were looking to do something with and kept the rest of the ingredients the same. Served it with buttered linguine tossed with parmasan and green beans.....so easy! Helpful (8) Sweetened Whipped Cream 07/12/2011 The best whipped cream reciped I have tried, without having to "doctor" it. I doubled the recipe and it turned out perfectly. Absolutely chill your bowl and beater:) Helpful (2) Ragù Bolognese (North Italian Meat Sauce) 06/09/2011 Really great recipe! Sauted the onion, carrots, and celery in 4T of butter (didn't have ham). In a large pan, browned 1 pkg of jimmy dean sausage and 1lb beef. Boiled the wine, then added the veggies. Used 2 1/4 c. Chicken broth (that's what I had) and a whole can of tomato paste (6oz). Omitted chicken liver portion of recipe. Added whipping cream. Used quite a bit more Nutmeg....this makes the recipe! About 1/4-1/2 tsp. Salt and pepper to taste.....EXCELLENT! Helpful (4) Banana Sour Cream Bread 04/28/2011 Really delicious! I used 3 - 9x5 bread pans, baked at 325 for a little over an hour and they turned out perfectly. Instead of walnuts, I opted for chocolate chips......seriously good stuff!! Helpful (6) Fruity Curry Chicken Salad 04/27/2011 DE-licious!! I used what I had on hand, so substituted Craisins for raisins and used 1/2 an onion chopped for green onions. Did not toast the pecans due to time....everything else the same. I made it from all organic ingredients, so that was a bonus!! I just made it, so it hasn't had a chance to sit over night, but I'm assuming it is going to be 10x as delicious tomorrow:) Helpful (4) Load More
