But it won't be around long.

Nowadays, it seems like everything old is new again. Juicy Couture is back with a Red Robin velour tracksuit, McDonald’s is slowly reintroducing its McDonaldland characters, and so many beloved products from our childhood are hitting shelves again.

And, while we’ll continue to beg Pizza Hut to give its Bigfoot Pizza another chance and Jell-O to re-release its Pudding Pops, we’ll take whatever nostalgic relaunch we can get. And, it seems like the companies in the cereal game want to make that happen.

Earlier this year, the ‘90s fan-favorite Oreo O’s brought back its Mega Stuf variety. Now, General Mills just announced its plans to release three throwback cereals in 2024—and the first is hitting shelves now.

General Mills brought back its Golden Grahams S’mores cereal—one of the only, and therefore best, Golden Grahams flavors ever made. The cereal was originally released in 1982 and had a successful run until 1988. General Mills reintroduced it in the ‘90s, but it didn’t have the same momentum.

Now, the cereal, which features Golden Grahams' crispy graham squares, cocoa-flavored squares, and marshmallows, is back for a limited time. There’s one tiny catch; however, the cereal will only be rolling out to Walmart locations.

The Walmart-exclusive launch is happening now, where Golden Grahams S’mores will be sold nationwide for a limited time, priced at $4.93 for a family-sized box.

We know you ‘80s—and some ‘90s—kids already know this, but Golden Grahams S’mores are so much more than a cereal for milk. Sure, that’s the most classic way to enjoy the sweet cereal, but Golden Grahams S’mores are also a smash hit in no-bake cereal bars with marshmallows; snack mixes with pretzels, Chex cereal, and chocolate chips; or s’mores brownies.

We’re not sure how long Golden Grahams S’mores will be available—and we also don’t know when the next throwback cereal will launch. What we do know, however, is that General Mills has plans to bring back Team Cheerios—the cereal with three Cheerios in one—this year. The original launch was affiliated with the 1996 Olympics, but this time around, the cereal will celebrate a range of athletes and sports—so, with a more evergreen theme, there's no telling when Team Cheerios might head to market.

We aren’t sure what the third throwback cereal will be, but if we’re not getting another nostalgic flavor for a few months, you’d better stock up on this one while you still can.
