The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a Class II recall notice on Jan. 17, though the original recall date is marked Dec. 13, 2024. A Class II recall (the second-most severe risk level) indicates "a situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote." How to Identify the Recalled Horizon Milk Products Horizon/Allrecipes The ongoing Horizon recall affects 8-ounce shelf-stale whole milk cartons sold both individually and in 12-packs. They were distributed to retailers in Arizona, California, and Nevada.
