Original recipe (1X) yields 4 servings 3 cups day-old bread cubes ⅓ cup raisins 1 ½ cups unsweetened applesauce ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 ½ cups milk ½ cup white sugar ¼ cup buttermilk 2 eggs, beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 dash ground cinnamon Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spread bread cubes and raisins in a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Mix applesauce, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a small bowl. Pour mixture over bread.
