Original recipe (1X) yields 15 servings 2 cups all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt 1 cup rolled oats 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 ⅓ cups packed dark brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Directions Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Stir together the flour, baking soda, salt and oats; set aside. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time then stir in the vanilla. Mix in the dry ingredients until well blended before stirring in the chocolate chips.
