Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 16 servings

  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 4 large eggs

  • â…” cup vegetable oil

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 3 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 3 cups confectioners' sugar

  • ¾ cup milk

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

  2. Beat cake mix, sour cream, eggs, and oil together in a bowl with an electric mixer for 3 minutes.

  3. Pour 1/2 batter into the prepared baking pan.

  4. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl; sprinkle over batter in the pan.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, 45 to 50 minutes.

  7. Combine confectioners' sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl.
