Taco Bell loves to give its fans something new to enjoy. Last month, it launched its Coffee Chillers and Churro Chillers, helping to debut the fast-food joint's first-ever frozen beverage. The chain also loves returning old favorites, like when it quietly added Double Decker Tacos last December.

Taco Bell is soon rolling out even more items to its menu, with one new savory offering released this week.

Sure, there are still some favorite discontinued items we desperately want to see Taco Bell bring back, but we're more than happy to check out what's new on the menu, too.

Taco Bell's New Menu Items Coming Soon

Taco Bell will soon release brand-new offerings to its menu that include an Avocado Verde Salsa to be paired with its upcoming Cantina Chicken Menu, which consists of the Cantina Chicken Burrito, Cantina Chicken Taco, Cantina Chicken Quesadilla, and the Cantina Chicken Bowl. The Cantina Chicken Menu is set to drop on March 21.

More chicken offerings are also on the way, such as Crispy Chicken Nuggets that are marinated in jalapeño buttermilk for an added kick, along with the Cheesy Street Chalupas that are stuffed with melted cheese and filled with either roasted chicken or grilled steak. A release date hasn’t been scheduled yet for these new offerings.

There is, however, one new menu addition we know is coming as soon as this week.

Taco Bell’s Cheesy Chicken Crispnada

The Cheesy Chicken Crispnada hits menus nationwide on Feb. 15. This new item is Taco Bell’s take on a chicken empanada stuffed with slow-cooked, shredded chicken with tomato and onion and then smothered in a variety of cheeses that include Monterey pepper jack, Cheddar, and mozzarella. The Cheesy Chicken Crispnada is also served with a spicy ranch sauce for dipping.

A few months back, Taco Bell began testing the Cheesy Chicken Crispnada in a few select locations. Fans who tried it expressed their excitement by commenting on an Instagram post by snackolator. One raved, “I had it last week it’s amazing.” Another begged, “OMG please come to Michigan!!!!”

Luckily for these excited fans, the wait is officially over.
