After Halloween, Feb. 14 is the biggest sweets day of the year. Arguably, it’s the biggest sweets holiday for adults because, technically, Halloween candy is supposed to be for the kids. When we first saw that the Costco bakery had a new cookie on its shelves, we were a bit confused because it didn’t scream “Valentine’s Day” to us. It seemed more of a fall or Thanksgiving flavor combo than one for February, but then it dawned on us: The cookie mix-ins are red and white—perfect for Valentine’s Day! Costco’s New White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies Laura Lamb of the Instagram account Costcohotfinds shared a video about the new White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies, saying, “They’re so soft, buttery and delicious!!” The 24-pack of cookies sells for $9.99. “The trick to getting the out of the oven taste and feel is to microwave them for about 15 seconds,” she says. She also notes that “it’s hard to eat just one.” “Agree. Warming them up makes them so much better,” said one of her followers. “Those cookies are absolutely delicious!” commented another. And one other person admitted, “These are my favorite.” Instagram's Costcohotbuys also posted about them, raving that they’re “delicious.” One of the account's followers said the cookies are “chewy” and “not overly sweet like i thought they’d be, which is kinda nice.” Another excited fan said, "Put my name on a pallet of these." The combination of tart flavor from the dried cranberries and sweet flavor from the white chocolate creates a balanced cookie that would be a simple dessert after a special Valentine’s meal or an unexpected addition to a festive table full of sweets. Like many of Costco’s bakery items, these cookies aren’t available at every store. If these cookies sound absolutely delicious to you, but you can’t get your hands on them, all is not lost. Try our White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies with just a touch of brandy to make them a little extra special. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
