Sometimes, coffee is a dessert in itself. This brown sugar-caramel latte recipe is one of my favorite morning treats to make a Monday seem less intimidating. You'll need a battery-powered milk frother, or it's just not the same.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 1 servings

  • ¼ cup half-and-half

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • ¾ cup hot, brewed coffee

  • 1 tablespoon caramel ice cream topping

Directions

  1. Combine half-and-half and brown sugar in a glass measuring cup until sugar dissolved; whip using a milk frother or small whisk.

  2. Pour coffee into a mug; stir in caramel sauce until dissolved. Add frothed half-and-half mixture. Serve.
